A special election primary will be held for California State Assembly Districts 39 (Northeast San Fernando Valley), 45 (Western San Fernando Valley), and 54 (Westside Los Angeles). Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Vote by mail ballots must be postmarked by election day to be counted. Contact: Courtney Jensen
